Fees

Fixed fees, agreed before anything starts

You will know what our work costs before we do any of it. No hourly rates for routine work, and no bills you were not expecting.

How our pricing works

We do not publish price lists, because a fee that means anything has to reflect what you actually need. What we do commit to is that the fee is fixed, agreed in writing, and quoted before work begins.

The first consultation is free and carries no obligation. It ends with a written proposal setting out the scope and the fee. Most clients pay monthly by direct debit, which spreads the cost and avoids a single bill landing alongside a tax payment.

What affects the fee

  • The services you need, and how many of them overlap
  • The size and complexity of the business or your personal affairs
  • The state of the records we are starting from
  • Whether you want quarterly reviews or annual contact
  • One-off projects, which are quoted separately as fixed prices

Common questions

Fees

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. It is a conversation about your circumstances with no charge and no obligation, and it ends with a written quote.

How long does a quote stand?

Three months, so you have time to think about it without the price moving.

What if my needs change during the year?

We re-quote the change before doing the work. The fee does not move without you agreeing to it first.

Do you charge for phone calls and emails?

No. Routine questions through the year are part of the fixed fee. If something turns into a substantial piece of work, we will tell you before starting and quote it.

How do I pay?

Most clients pay monthly by direct debit. One-off projects are usually invoiced on completion.
